Strange Wor/ds is an upcoming speculative fiction lit zine open to unrepresented submissions.
Guidelines are fairly loose:
must be at least tangentially sci-fi/fantasy/weird in character or nature
longer submissions will be serialized but are perfectly fine
no hateful shit as understood by editorial. non-negotiable.
no poetry, please.
comics very welcome! please submit!
stories featuring lgbtqi, afrofuturism, solarpunk, hopepunk, and forward-thinking themes will be given strong preference, but are not required.
Emails will contain two or more free stories, one or more paid. Print publications (should they occur) will be for paid subscribers only.
